Northwoods Welcomes New Principal
Northwoods faculty, staff, students and parents were excited to hear the news that Mrs. Kristen Thome would be the new principal, effective December 14, 2009. Mrs. Thome comes to Northwoods with a sincere love for and dedication to Catholic education as well as extensive experience and proven success in the field of education. Mrs. Thome was recommended by Sister Kevina Keating, Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
Mrs. Thome taught for seven years at St.Vincent de Paul Catholic School. She came to Northwoods from John Paul II Catholic School where she served as assistant principal for over three years. Mrs. Thome holds a Masters in Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.
